Driving philosophy
I have a sincere appreciation for lightweight and performant websites. I love pages with intentful design, view-sourcable markup, and minimal runtime JS footprint. No visual clutter, no clunky gimmicks that tear through the DOM, no third party cookies or trackers unless necessary.
This site is deliberately structured so that the page contents and URLs mirror the source. At its core, all posts and logs are just a stack of files; and a bespoke SSG handles code generation. You can share the source files in a tarball, and the receiver can browse the whole thing in a text editor (even this collapsible section).
Projects
- Nez: An emulator for the NES, written in Zig.
- Vyse: A dynamically typed, interpreted programming language for embedding in applications like web-servers and game engines.
- Bonkyon: A small puzzler game written in LOVE. Play here.
- Bark: A static site generator like Hugo/11ty/Jekyll written in Haskell.
- Shriek: A topdown horror RPG game.
- CSTriviaBot: A fun, general purpose discord bot.
And many more on my GitHub.
